 Secondly, choose tops with strategic draping or ruching around the midsection to camouflage any problem areas. Its also a great idea to draw attention to your ‘strengths’ and that could mean wearing an amazing necklace or ear rings that bring peoples eyes to your fabulous hair and face or wearing a beautiful pair of shoes that will show off your amazing legs.

 Thirdly, layering is your friend; try wearing a structured blazer or a fine knitted cardigan over a fitted top to create a streamlined silhouette. Even better if these have a small shoulder pad in as they will increase the width of your shoulder line making you look like a walking coat hanger.

Fourthly, opt for high-waisted bottoms, such as trousers or skirts, as they cinch at the narrowest part of your waist and smooth out any bulges. Never stop a horizontal line on the widest part of you.

Fifth, choose dark-colored clothing, which tends to be more slimming, and steer clear of bold patterns or horizontal stripes that draw attention to the midsection.

Lastly, don't underestimate the power of good posture; standing tall and confidently instantly makes you appear slimmer and more put together.
